Before & After Gallery

This portfolio page sets out the shot list our detailers follow before publishing any before-and-after photograph: matched angle, matched distance, matched light, and defects checked under direct sun rather than flattering shade, so every comparison on this site stays honest.

Tripod fixed at a marked ground position beside a parked car to keep camera distance identical for a before-and-after photograph in Agadir
Two-stage paint correction: oxidised, swirl-marked clearcoat on the left, levelled and refined on the right.

How to read a before-and-after photograph

A trustworthy before-and-after pair holds four conditions constant: camera angle, distance from the panel, light source, and time of day. Change any one of those four and the comparison measures the change in light, not the change in the vehicle.

Camera position decides more of a before-and-after photograph than the wash itself. A tripod fixed at one distance from the panel, marked on the ground, removes the angle as a variable. The same lens setting and the same height keep the frame identical between the two shots.

Paint defects behave the opposite way indoors and outdoors. Swirl marks and holograms in a clear coat show under a point light source or direct sun striking the panel at a low angle. The same panel under an overcast sky or a shaded car park looks flawless. Our assessment photographs use the light that reveals a defect, not the light that hides it.

A photograph cannot show everything a result depends on. A photograph cannot show whether a ceramic coating cured for the full period before anyone touched the panel. A photograph cannot show whether paint thickness was measured before a cutting pad touched the clear coat. A photograph cannot show whether sand was extracted from under the carpet backing rather than brushed off the top layer. The method pages linked from this gallery carry that detail: Paint Correction Service, Ceramic Coating in Agadir and Interior Car Detailing.

The shot list — what each comparison photograph must show

Each slot below states the vehicle type, the service, the district and the exact frame our detailers capture. No slot carries a finished photograph yet; each one is a standing instruction that turns into a real before-and-after pair the day a client accepts the comparison.

What a result looks like, service by service

A genuine result looks different for each service, because each one changes a different physical property. Paint correction removes a defect from the clear coat. Ceramic coating changes how water behaves on the surface. Interior detailing changes what sits inside the carpet fibre, not just its surface colour.

  • Paint correction — defect removal under direct lightSwirl marks and holograms disappear from the corrected zone under the same raking light that revealed them beforehand. Correction runs one stage or two, from 1800 to 2400 MAD.Paint Correction Service
  • Ceramic coating — beading and sheeting behaviourWater beads into separate droplets and sheets off the panel once the coating has cured for 24 hours, carrying a 3-year warranty.Ceramic Coating in Agadir
  • Interior detailing — carpet pile and seat railsSand comes out from under the carpet backing and the seat-rail channel, not only off the pile on top, in 60 to 90 minutes.Interior Car Detailing
  • Headlight restoration — beam clarity, not lens appearanceA restored headlight throws a sharp beam pattern on a wall at night. A clear-looking lens photographed in daylight proves nothing about beam clarity after dark.Headlight Restoration
  • Leather seat cleaning — matte finish, not glossA treated leather seat dries to a matte, non-greasy finish, priced from 400 to 500 MAD. A glossy seat signals an oil-based feed, the product this service avoids.Leather Seat Cleaning & Conditioning
  • Paint Protection Film — an edge invisible under direct lightCorrectly installed film disappears at its edge under direct light, with no visible line at the bonnet or bumper join. Coverage and price follow an on-site inspection, not a fixed rate.Paint Protection Film (PPF)

What a photograph cannot show

A photograph records light bouncing off a surface at one instant. A photograph cannot record a cure state, a measured thickness, an internal fibre condition, or a smell. Five outcomes on this page depend on exactly those hidden facts, not on how a panel looks in a single frame.

Cure state
Whether a ceramic coating finished cross-linking into its hardened layer. A photograph taken before the 24-hour cure ends shows beading that has not reached its full strength.
Measured paint thickness
The clear-coat depth a gauge reads in microns before and after a cutting pass. A photograph shows gloss, never the microns a paint correction technician removed to reach it.
Fibre-depth cleaning
Whether sand was agitated out of the carpet backing or only vacuumed off the top of the pile. Both states photograph as a clean-looking carpet from above.
Odour outcome
Whether a smell left the cabin air after an ozone treatment. A photograph carries no scent information, so this outcome never appears as a before-and-after pair.
Beam clarity
How much light a restored headlight throws onto a road surface at night. A daylight photograph of a clear lens says nothing about the beam pattern after dark.

An honest comparison against a misleading one

A misleading before-and-after pair changes more than one condition between frames: a different angle, a shorter distance, a brighter light, or a later time of day. An honest comparison holds camera position, distance, light source and time of day constant, so only the vehicle changes.

How to judge any detailer's published before-and-after photographs

The same four conditions apply to a photograph published by any detailing business, not only this one. A reader can check camera angle, distance, light source and time of day on a competitor's gallery using the same method this page sets out.

A published gallery deserves the same four checks regardless of which business posted it. Look for a fixed camera position, marked or described, rather than two photographs that happen to show the same car. Look for a light source strong enough to reveal a swirl mark, not a flattering overcast frame that hides one. Look for a stated time gap between the two frames rather than an unstated one.

A single photograph never proves a method, only a result under stated conditions. The process behind the result sits on the service pages this gallery links to: paint thickness measurement, coating cure time, and carpet agitation before extraction. Car Detailing in Agadir describes the full range of processes behind every comparison this page lists.

Why does this gallery show no customer photographs yet?

No customer photograph appears on this page today. Publishing a comparison photograph requires the vehicle owner's consent and a second visit to the same spot under matching light. This page states the shot list our detailers follow, not results still waiting for that consent.

What makes a before-and-after photograph trustworthy?

Four matched conditions: camera angle, distance from the panel, light source and time of day. A pair that changes any one of those four is showing a change in the photograph, not necessarily a change in the vehicle.

Why are defect photographs taken in direct sunlight instead of shade?

Swirl marks and holograms in a clear coat show under direct sun or a raking lamp, and disappear under an overcast sky or shade. A defect photographed in flattering light looks corrected even when it is not.

Can a ceramic coating result be judged straight after application?

No. The coating needs 24 hours to cure before beading and sheeting reach full strength, so a photograph taken during that window understates the result.

Does a clean-looking interior photograph prove the carpet was deep cleaned?

No. Sand trapped under the carpet backing and in the seat-rail channel looks identical in a photograph to a carpet vacuumed only on top. Fibre-depth cleaning is checked by hand, not by camera.

Where can I see the process instead of a finished photograph?

On the service pages this gallery links to. Paint Correction Service states the microns of clear coat measured and removed, and Interior Car Detailing states the agitation step a surface vacuum skips.
